Our Story

Terium was established in 2009 by Oliver Takacs, an investment banker who led various structured finance businesses and Hesham Ezzat, a former strategy consultant who ran several high growth ventures.

Our activities include a broad range of bespoke advisory and investment solutions for complex projects and transactions.

Terium’s clients and partners are diverse and include private & sponsor backed companies, entrepreneurs, family offices and institutional investors.

This diversity, which often straddles traditional sector, geographic and product boundaries, allows us to originate and identify highly differentiated transaction opportunities.

Merchant Banking

Terium’s Merchant Banking business is driven by longstanding investor relationships with varied interests across products, sectors and geographies. This is reflected in the range of activities we conduct such as:

  • Debt Advisory: Structuring and placement of private debt transactions
  • Strategic capital advisory and growth equity
  • Financial Advisory: Capital structure, acquisition financing, special situations, structuring and investment analysis

Investment Management

Terium’s Investment Management business works primarily with family offices and other sponsors to identify, create and manage unique opportunities.

Often we engage with family offices, corporates and experts to leverage additional capabilities and mitigate the opportunity risks of complex transactions.
